Symptom
Login to one or more Cloud Links fails in a Genetec × Suprema integration environment, even though the network connection and credentials appear to be correct.
System Limitation
Within a single Suprema Device Plugin, up to four (4) Cloud Links can be connected.
However, in plugin versions 2.1.2.67 and earlier, there is a critical limitation:
All Cloud Links must use the same password
If different passwords are configured per Cloud Link, authentication to one or more Cloud Links will fail
This limitation is not always obvious and can lead to repeated login failures.
Root Cause
In versions 2.1.2.67 and below, the Device Plugin uses a shared credential model for Cloud Link authentication.
As a result, the plugin cannot correctly authenticate when Cloud Links are configured with different passwords.
Resolution
Upgrade the Device Plugin to build 2.1.2.67 or later
From build 2.1.2.67 onward:
Each Cloud Link can be configured with a different password
Login and communication work as expected without requiring password unification
Workaround (For Older Versions)
If upgrading is not immediately possible:
Configure all Cloud Links with the same password and restarting all Cloud links
Restart the Device Plugin services after updating the credentials and re-login to Cloud links
